The presentations of the books published in Russian, Arabic and Japanese at TSUOS
On November 30, 2021, the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUV) has hosted the presentations of the books “Uzbekistan on the eve of a strategic leap” in Russian, Arabic and Japanese. The books were prepared by TSUOS jointly with the Center for Political and Media Studies “Al-Khivar” (Egypt) and the Center for Central Asian Studies of the University of Tsukuba (Japan).
The presentation of the books was participated by leading scientists-orientalists, political scientists, as well as foreign experts from Egypt, Israel, Russian Federation, USA and France. The conference was organized in hybrid mode, via ZOOM online platform and offline mode.
The books in Russian, Arabic and Japanese analyze the main trends in the political and economic development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in recent years. It also provides detailed information about the ongoing changes in the domestic and foreign policy of the new Uzbekistan, about new trends in Uzbekistan’s relations with foreign countries. The political, economic, cultural and humanitarian aspects of Uzbekistan’s strategic partnership in the international arena are elaborated.
Particularly, the book analyzes the main trends in the political and economic development of the Republic of Uzbekistan over the past 5 years. The book provides information for readers about the big changes implemented in Uzbekistan, which have entered the history of the new Uzbekistan.
Analyzing the international transformation of the foreign policy of the new Uzbekistan, the authors have noted the factors of the growth of the international image of our republic. Simultaneously, the book provides analytical information about new trends in Uzbekistan’s relations with foreign countries. The political, economic, cultural and humanitarian aspects of Uzbekistan’s strategic partnership with these countries are explored.
The presentation of the books was attended by professors, teachers, researchers and students of Uzbek Oriental studies and political science, as well as scientists and experts from higher educational institutions and research institutes of Egypt, Russia, the USA, Israel, Hungary and France. In particular, Ahmad Tahir-Director of the Al-Khivar Center for Political and Media Studies, Musha Sever-Director of the Regional Dialogue Representative Office in Uzbekistan, Tom Sanderson-project Manager of the US Center for Strategic Studies. Also, have attended Professor of the European Center for Security Studies named after J. Marshall Gregory Gleason, Head of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Vorobyov and Professor of the University of Le Havre, Pierre Shabal, as well as Professor of the Jewish University and expert of the Institute for the Study of the Middle East and Israel Vladimir Mesamed.
The speakers at the opening ceremony of this presentation have told about the current state and prospects of political, economic and humanitarian relations of Uzbekistan with foreign countries, also expressed their opinion about the possibilities of further development of mutually beneficial relations through higher education institutions today.
The book raises such important and interesting issues as: Uzbekistan on the eve of a great strategic leap, the unity of the state and the people, changes that will go down in the history of independent Uzbekistan, factors of growth of the international image of Uzbekistan, regional diplomacy of the remodeled Uzbekistan.
