Language classes
The Language Training and Counseling Center invites everyone to take foreign language courses (Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, English, German, French).
The duration of training ranges from 3 to 20 months, depending on the level of students and the specifics of the language. Classes are held in small groups at a convenient time for those who wish to attend.
Students who successfully complete the two-year (20-month) course can earn a nationally recognized certificate in interpreting.
The Center has 30 years of experience, the training is conducted by highly qualified specialists. All existing training programs are approved by the TSUOS Academic Council.
Training courses
In order to ensure the implementation of the order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education dated February 27, 2018 No. 196 “On measures to improve the activities of preparatory courses organized in higher education institutions”, since March 1, 2018, the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies is teaching general education courses for applicants on a permanent basis. Classes are held in small groups according to the approved schedule 3 times a week for 1.5 hours at a convenient time for students.
Retraining and refresher courses
According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on April 16, 2020, number PP-4680 “On measures to radically improve the training system and increase scientific potential in the field of Oriental Studies” the task was set to organize at the University permanent courses for retraining and professional development of teachers of educational institutions, which will teach the Eastern languages, and teaching staff who have successfully completed these courses will be given a certificate of standard form.
These retraining and refresher courses are currently offered at the Center for Language Training and Consulting.
