Seminar in cooperation with international universities
On March 10, 2023, An online international seminar was held on the topic “Development of Urdu language and literature in the countries of Central Asia” at Departments of “Urdu Language and Literature, Culture and History of Pakistan” and “South and Southeast Asian languages” in cooperation with NUML (National University of Modern Languages) (Islamabad, Pakistan), also on March 16, an online international seminar was held on the topic “Linguistic-literary, cultural-educational commonality between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Pakistan” at these departments in cooperation with “The woman University of Multan” (Multon, Pakistan) at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
In these seminars, professors’ staff of National University of Modern Languages (Foziya Aslam, Jamil Asghar Jami, Naim Mazhar), professors’ staff of “The woman University of Multan”, associate professor of Hazara University Muhammad Altaf Yusuf Zai, professors’ staff of Departments of “Urdu Language and Literature, Culture and History of Pakistan” and “South and Southeast Asian languages” and students of university were participated.
After that, professors and teachers of our university gave information about the activities of the university, the history of Urdu and Hindi languages, the works and activities of scientists who have made a great contribution to the development of the Urdu language, the scientific books, textbooks, dictionaries, and translations they have published.
Also, the teachers of the department expressed their opinion about the research work they are conducting.
