MAIN OBJECTIVES AND DIRECTIONS OF THE CENTER’S ACTIVITY
Conducting a comprehensive study of the history, stages, models and features of the socio-political and economic development of the countries of the East, studying the relationship of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the states of the East from the point of view of their further development.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CENTER DIRECTOR
Center Director:
– manages the activities of the Center;
– appoints and dismisses employees of the Center in accordance with the established procedure;
– determines the procedure and conditions for the use of additional funds, bonuses and other incentives within the funds allocated in accordance with the legislation to the employees of the Center;
– bears personal responsibility for solving the tasks assigned to the Center;
– holds meetings on issues related to the activities of the Center;
– decides on disciplinary measures and incentives in relation to the personnel of the Center;
– determines the powers of his deputy and other officials of the Center, distributes responsibilities between employees, determines the level of personal responsibility for the management of certain divisions of the Center of certain officials;
– represents the Center in local and foreign organizations;- in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, concludes and terminates contracts with persons (employees) involved in the activities of the Center;
– in agreement with the rector of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and the vice-rector for research and innovation, makes changes to the structure of the Center within the approved total limited number of employees and the wage fund;
– approves plans corresponding to the tasks and directions of the Center’s activities;
– resolves relevant issues in the activities of the Center in the manner prescribed by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
– exercises other powers on the basis of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and within the framework of this Regulation.
